BrainGym set out to make brain health feel familiar, proactive and culturally normal. More like going to the gym, less like entering a clinic.

They approached us to bring their vision to life, from concept to

THE INSIGHT

Cultural Conversations

This wasn’t a surface exercise.
We immersed ourselves in the space the brand needed to live in.

We explored the cultural conversation around mental wellbeing. Studied adjacent wellness and performance brands. Tested tools already in the market. Environments shaping the category.

Alongside this, we led a detailed, in-person discovery process with the founding team to uncover the nuance behind the ambition.

Insight before identity. Always.

That foundation shaped a brand built for real people navigating a deeply personal space.

THE IDEA

Building Resilience, Together

We simplified the brand’s path forward into a single mantra: ‘Building resilience, together.’ It’s the common thread that keeps everything consistent, from the internal team culture to how the brand shows up in the world.

THE PROCESS

Grounded in Real Context

Mental wellbeing lives in a delicate space.

Language matters. Tone matters. Framing matters.

Through collaborative workshops and structured discovery, we uncovered the tension between performance culture and personal vulnerability, and used that understanding to guide every creative decision.

A Brand Built for Its Audience

To bridge the gap between self-improvement and wellbeing, we built an identity that feels confident but not clinical, supportive, not sterile.


The result is a brand that strips away the complexity of the subject, making it feel open, credible, and easy to engage with.

Equipped for the Everyday

From defining exactly how the brand shows up in culture, the down-to-earth messaging and human-focussed visual system feels truly approachable. Every element was built with a purpose, backed up by a set of practical tools and assets. This gives the team everything they need to make the brand work in the real world, day in and day out.

Looking Ahead

Following completion of the brand phase, the client chose to pivot their product direction.

That happens. Markets evolve. Priorities shift.
We are still proud of the work.
