CAVAEDIUM
Designed to disrupt.

A World of Its Own
Our role was to translate that vision into a visual identity that reflected its owner and gave Cavaedium a presence of its own.
Conceived by JPA Design London and developed in close collaboration with Polar, Cavaedium explores a different way to live at sea. Polar’s contribution connected the thinking behind the yacht with the story it tells, giving that vision a distinctive voice and presence.

Turn Personality Into a World Others Can Enter
The challenge was to understand the character behind the owner’s preferences and give it a clear visual expression.
We needed to create an identity that felt personal to its owner and gave others a way to recognise, understand and connect with Cavaedium.
The identity is designed to be a legacy to the owner, while appealing to those experiencing the vessel as a charter.
Personality should create difference.
It should not limit the audience.

A Shift in Perspective
Rather than following the familiar codes of yachting, we looked beyond them.
The identity is built around changing perspectives – the relationship between space and light, inside and outside, day and night. A visual language designed to shift with its surroundings and reveal something different depending on how you encounter it.

Where Space and Light Meet
Light became a material in its own right. Colour shifts, soft gradients, transparency and reflection bring movement into the identity, while a precise typographic system creates contrast and control.
Together, they create a brand that can move between quiet and expressive. From understated details to moments designed to command attention.

A Different Way of Seeing
Cavaedium is designed to disrupt expectations; capturing attention, provoking curiosity and signalling a deliberate departure from the expected.
In an industry shaped by tradition, a new generation of owners is bringing different expectations: greater individuality, more meaningful experiences and a more personal expression of success. Cavaedium anticipates that shift, with an identity shaped around its owner’s ambition and the legacy they want to create.

A Character of its Own
Cavaedium now has a coherent visual identity that gives its owner’s vision a recognisable expression. Distinctive without becoming inaccessible, luxurious without relying on the expected codes of luxury.
